The following continuing education activities have been identified by ONCB as suitable for Category A credit toward recertification.
Some of the activities may have expiration dates that are beyond the influence of ONCB. We encourage you to review the list soon and create a personal timeline to complete the activities based on any expiration date.
Some courses offer nursing contact hours, while others offer continuing medical education (CME) credits, allied health credits, and or AMA PRA credits. Please note: ONCB limits the amount of CME, allied health credits, and AMA credits that can be used by ONCs toward recertification. You may claim at most 25 contact hours under Category A in a recertification cycle. For more information, review our detailed guidelines on the many types of professional activities that can be used to meet recertification requirements.
