Categorization Statements for Workshop Planners
ONCB is not an approver of continuing nursing education. However, ONCB will evaluate any approved continuing education activity to determine appropriate Category A and Category B credits.
To categorize your event, select the button corresponding to the CE hours for your event. Submit the form and make a payment for the CE Categorization. For activities with less than 5 contact hours, the evaluation fee is $30. For activities with 5 or more contact hours, the evaluation fee is $60.
Once we’ve received your payment and completed categorization form, we’ll review your event information to determine how many Category A/B credits you can offer for the event. ONCB will then provide a categorization statement that can be added to the CE certificate for the activity to help nurses as they apply for orthopaedic nursing recertification.
